Bad Sprint Signal? Force roaming to T-Mobile
I've been having an issue with using my Sprint phone in an area with minimal Sprint service. So, I found a way to make sure my phone ONLY uses T-Mobile towers, and never connects to Sprint. (I can easily change it back to Sprint in a few minutes). The first thing I would recommend is to download "Network Cell Info Lite" from google play store. Document your current signal strength and which cell tower you are connected to. Here are the steps: 1. Open your phone Dialer and dial *#3282#*#* After you type the last "*" your phone will display a "hidden Menu" 2. Tap "LTE" in the Menu 3. Tap "Edit" 4. Tap in the blank area above the line to get the keyboard to open and then type "000000" (without the quotes!) 5. Next click on each band in turn (bands 25, 26, 41) and then click "edit" and then "off". See pictures below: 6. Click the "back" button at the bottom of the screen and your phone will reboot
